Golden Highway — Grasmere to Southgate
A large-scale trenchless installation along the Golden Highway, boring at 13 separate intersections to install new ducting around each crossing and out to the central islands for new traffic signals. Every intersection was bored to carry 1×160mm and 2×110mm HDPE pipe.

No two intersections shared the same ground conditions, so each crossing needed a fresh plan and approach. Boring had to be fast and accurate around a dense network of live existing services — fibre, power, water, gas and stormwater — and the full scope across all 13 intersections was completed within a two-month deadline to keep the project on schedule.
